So today we had fun making an animation in groups, using pixelation as the theme. This was what our group ended up with =D
We had about an hour or so to capture our efforts and I think we did quite well. I'm proud of how much we got done and I think the continuity of it shows how good we can work as a team under pressure - well done team I think =D

Messing around with ma duckies ^-^
So I wanted to try dropping the duck-like characters into something like a glass - just as an extra something to do because I like the idea... It took some fiddling about and such but I'm glad to say I managed to render something =D

Now that this module is finished =D
So... here's the long awaited animation.
I don't like the sound and it could be miles better generally but this is what has been handed in.
It will be changed for the better before I give it into E4's competition but for now it shows pretty much how I want the animation to go down so great stuff.
Just felt the need to upload it,
Cheers

Having handed most of my work in...
Infuriatingly, I am still working on my final animation for the E4 ident the week after it was due to hand in. I have had to re-build the scene twice, render the thing at least 4 times before noticing mistakes in each and I'm still not finished.
Currently I am working on timing - which is proving more complicated as you'd think. You'd expect in Cinema 4D, putting an object in a cloner object would mean it fell at the same speed as another of the same object in a different cloner object, I have a horrible feeling this may not be the case because every time I edit the height of the ducks so they fall in accordance with each other - they change speed so they're out of time again.

Final Character design
FINALLY!! I have a character I actually like!
He's being animated tomorrow and then everything will be finished and ready to hand in. I still have a bit to do but since I ended up with this character I feel so much more optimistic about the ident and hand in and my morph and all the paperwork I'm going to print out.
I want to get it all out of the way so I can mess about more with this character. I have big plans for this little duck, he's going to be falling into cocktail glasses with LOADS of his mates and he won't be harmed in the making of any of the said shorts. Anyhow, I'm still typing stuff up so I will get back to doing that. Just thought it would be a good idea to update this thingy.
On another note, my morph is being shot tomorrow too and another note I'm giving in my life model work tomorrow and hopefully it will all go smoothly.
Anyway, goodnight.
Cheers

Hand in on Friday... AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!
Soooo.... final week for TWO WHOLE MODULES to finish off and hand in... Sorry I have nothing to upload to make this post look pretty or interesting I'm just going to type a load of words...
Things left to do before everything will be good enough to hand in...
are...
Things left to do before everything will be good enough to hand in...
are...
- Animating the ident at long last - the lecturer is in today and has offered assistance so I can learn how to make the animation go how I want it to. (I've been having problems related to a lack of expertise in Cinema 4D particularly)
- Sound design for the ident - this involves shouting "weeeeeeee" and other wierd noises at a mac and finding a pinball sound effect... more on this later as to why...*
- Final finishing touches for Ident - then rendering so it is ready to look beautiful and all that...
- Finishing off the Morph animation...
- Printing out all the paperwork and binding it (for both modules)
- Making sure everything is cohesive, readable and tidy before giving it in asap.
* as I was saying - Pinball SFX... yes the idea has been somewhat edited - the characters are all going to fall into the scene while a counter in the bottom left corner counts how many there are... as the numbers increase beyond the counter's ability it starts to malfunction before the screen shuts down only to start up again with some form of technical fault page that's overlaid with the E4 logo flickering and being all glitchy...
anyway - off to work...
cheers

Focus!
Okay...
So now that the animations for my sister have been done and passed on, I can dedicate my entire concentration to the tasks at hand in College...
So my to do list, starting this week, will be;
So now that the animations for my sister have been done and passed on, I can dedicate my entire concentration to the tasks at hand in College...
So my to do list, starting this week, will be;
- E4 Ident work
- Finish designing my character for the E4 ident and build it.
- Build the scene for the E4 ident, this means the E4 shaped tube and so on.
- Animate the character then drop it into the scene, then animate the bounce.
- Camera moves and polishing it off.
- Morph project work (low priority as have already done this just extra to make the animation better)
- Re-trace the frames in pencil to re-take in Dragon Stop-Motion.
- Re-shoot it in Dragon.
- Practice Enrichment
- Finish the character sheet drawings.
- Edit them in Adobe Illustrator.
- Colour up ready to use to build in Cinema 4D
Anything else that comes up will be added to the list and I should get everything done and dusted in time to give everything in. I'm going to need some sound effects for this E4 ident, so that is another thing I will be thinking about this week. Anyway,
Cheers
